Tween Potrait Session in Grass Valley
Savannah is a sweet girl who attends 7th grade in Gridley CA. I met her this July during a photo shoot in Roseville CA. I joined her & her mom up at the Empire Mine State Park on November 11, 2017 for a tween portrait session.
I highly recommend visiting this state park if you are ever in Grass Valley. The brickwork and old buildings are original to the location & are all gorgeous backdrops for any photosession; in fact, there were several families there who were having their photos taken in this 853 acre state park.
We visited several different areas including the reflecting pool, the cottage, and the flower gardens, about an hour before sunset. The light gave many of her photos a golden glow. She mentioned that the image below is one of her favorites from our session. I have to agree that it is my favorite too. I love the way the golden background complements her skin and deep brown eyes.
It was fun to spend time with her and her mom at this beautiful place. Thank you Beth and Savannah!
